As we step into 2026, one theme is already shaping our work: frontline collaboration is becoming more essential than ever. Across children’s homes, hostels, youth services, and community spaces, the pressures facing young people and adults are increasing and no single organisation can meet those needs alone.
This year, we’re deepening our partnerships with frontline teams who share our commitment to dignity‑first, trauma‑informed support. These collaborations aren’t new to us, but they are expanding and they are becoming a central part of how we respond to the realities we’re seeing on the ground.
Frontline workers are carrying more than ever:
- higher emotional demand
- more complex cases
- increased instability in housing and placements
- stretched resources across services
What we’re hearing consistently is that frontline teams need connection, shared learning, and coordinated support, not more siloed interventions.
That’s where our work in 2026 is focused.
We’re now collaborating with a growing number of partners across the North West and UK, strengthening the ecosystem around the people we support. These networks include:
- children’s homes seeking trauma‑informed approaches
- hostels and temporary accommodation teams needing consistent, relational support
- youth services looking for joined‑up pathways
- community organisations wanting to share resources and insight
We’re welcoming these networks because they make the work stronger. When frontline teams feel supported, connected, and equipped, the outcomes for young people and adults improve dramatically.
In 2026, we’re focusing on three core commitments:
- Show up consistently alongside frontline workers, not just during crisis points
- Share learning and insight across services so no team feels isolated
- Build coordinated responses that reduce duplication and increase impact
This isn’t about expanding for the sake of growth. It’s about strengthening the foundations of the system, the people who hold the most responsibility, the most emotional labour, and the most direct contact with those who need support.
We ended 2025 with a powerful reminder of what collaboration can achieve. Now, we’re carrying that momentum into a year where partnership, shared purpose, and frontline connection will shape everything we do.
If you’re a frontline organisation, a service lead, or a partner who wants to collaborate, we welcome you into this growing network. Please reach out to at info@homelesshouse.co.uk
