We didn’t set out to build partnerships. We set out to build trust. But somewhere along the way, the right people noticed and leaned in.
It started with frontline referrals. Police officers who saw the gaps. Who knew the system wasn’t working. Who called us, not because we were on a list, but because they had seen what we did in placements, shelters, and prison classrooms.
We didn’t pitch. We showed up. With safeguarding rituals. With mentoring flows. With youth-led design that made sense to the people living it.
Through these partnerships, we’ve been able to do more than support young people we’ve helped repair the fragmented systems around them. What started as frontline trust-building has evolved into something bigger: a coordinated, trauma-informed response that actually holds. This isn’t just collaboration. It’s leadership. Quiet, strategic, and rooted in lived experience.
To the officers, social workers, and frontline staff who backed us before the metrics – A HUGEEEE thank you. You didn’t just change the game. You helped us build a new one!
