KAVS VISIT

The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is an annual award that recognises outstanding volunteer groups making a real impact in their community. The honour is equivalent to an MBE! πŸŽ–πŸ€―

KAVS is the highest award given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life!!
As you may have already learnt, we have been nominated!! πŸ’₯

This week, we were honoured to be visited by lieutenant Ann-Marie Wynne. Ann-Marie attended The Hub to meet the team and some of our volunteers to hear more about what we do, how we do it, and, more importantly, who does it and met some of those individuals πŸ₯°.

For a small grassroots community group, we pack a powerful punch, and we are super proud of our bank of volunteers who day in, day out, give back so selflessly. Thank you to every single person who has supported our communities across 4 cities from 2019 to today! This nomination is a reflection of your kindness! πŸ™

If you would like to join our bank of volunteers, please do reach out and let us tell you more! πŸ’«
